THE BIG PICTURE

About this course

The Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) is a widely recognised credential awarded by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). It validates knowledge of European data protection law and practice, including the GDPR and related guidance. This 5‑day course develops applied understanding of GDPR principles, lawful processing, data subject rights, accountability, security and breach response, supervision and enforcement, and international transfers. You will work through realistic scenarios, draft core artefacts (e.g., notices, ROPAs, DPIA outlines), analyse case law, and discuss approaches that fit your organisation’s context. Each day includes exercises, group discussion, and exam-style question practice. The CIPP/E exam comprises 90 multiple‑choice questions in 150 minutes, delivered closed book via Pearson VUE test centres or online proctoring. Scoring uses a 100–500 scale with 300 as the pass mark. Certifications are maintained with continuing education (40 CPE credits every two years) and an annual maintenance fee, per IAPP policy. IAPP – International Association of Privacy Professionals owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
