THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
CompTIA Security+ is a global entry-level cyber security certification awarded by CompTIA that validates baseline skills for security roles. Across four days you will cover core security concepts, threats and vulnerabilities, secure architecture, operations, and governance. You will complete hands-on labs each day, including scanning, hardening, IAM configuration, SIEM analysis, and incident response drills. An exam voucher is included. The SY0-701 exam has up to 90 questions in multiple-choice and performance-based formats, with 90 minutes to complete. The passing score is 750 on a 100–900 scale. Exams are delivered via Pearson VUE at test centres or online proctored and are closed book; the certification is valid for three years and can be renewed through the CompTIA Continuing Education programme. CompTIA owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
What you’ll learn
