THE BIG PICTURE

About this course

Business Process Management (BPM) certifications are awarded by independent bodies such as ABPMP International and the Object Management Group (OMG). A BPM professional credential typically recognises competence in modelling, analysing, improving, and governing processes across an organisation. Over three days you will define process scope and architecture, model processes using BPMN 2.0, analyse issues and performance, and plan improvements. You will explore automation options (BPMS/low-code and RPA), design practical KPIs and controls, and address governance and change. Hands‑on labs use a BPMN modelling tool to produce as‑is and to‑be models, metrics, and an improvement roadmap. Assessment routes differ by awarding body. Some offer year‑round proctored multiple‑choice exams, while others issue certificates of training for completing an approved curriculum. This course includes exam preparation and guidance on selecting and registering for a suitable certification; the exam is registered and taken directly with the awarding body. The awarding body owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.

What you’ll learn

  • Explain the BPM lifecycle and map a process architecture linked to business objectives
  • Model as‑is and to‑be processes using BPMN 2.0 with clear conventions and documentation

  • Design practical KPIs, SLAs, and control measures to sustain performance
  • Evaluate automation options (BPMS/low‑code, RPA, integration) and assess suitability
  • Define governance roles, risk controls, and change approaches for process adoption
  • Produce a concise improvement roadmap and stakeholder communication plan
  • Practise exam‑style questions and develop a personal study and booking plan for the certification
