THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
The Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA) is an entry-level certification awarded by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). It recognises foundational knowledge of the BABOK Guide and common business analysis terminology, concepts, and tasks. Over three days you will cover core knowledge areas including planning and monitoring, elicitation and collaboration, requirements life cycle, analysis and design definition, strategy analysis, and solution evaluation. You will work through practical case studies, build models and acceptance criteria, manage traceability, and discuss real project scenarios. Each day includes guided practice questions and feedback. The ECBA exam has 50 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, is closed book, and is delivered online with remote proctoring via IIBA’s exam provider. You apply to IIBA, confirm eligibility (including the 21 hours of professional development within the last four years), and schedule your exam. IIBA does not publish a pass mark. International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
