Five Case Solution (5CS)
Three days of guided practice building a full Five Case business case in an online platform, collaborating in teams and trying exam-style tasks.
THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
This course provides study support for working with the Five Case Solution (5CS), which helps teams develop business cases using the Five Case Model. It is intended for people involved in creating or assuring business cases in public or private sector settings. APMG International is associated with the Five Case Model guidance, but there is no separate 5CS certification awarded by APMG. Across three days you will combine practical use of the 5CS application with structured teaching on the Strategic, Economic, Commercial, Financial, and Management Cases. You will configure a workspace, manage options, evidence and approvals, collaborate with contributors, and produce submission-ready outputs. Hands-on exercises build a single example business case from scoping through to assurance and reporting. There is no standalone 5CS exam. If you plan to take APMG’s Better Business Cases (Foundation or Practitioner) exams, the course includes exam-style practice and a timed mock, plus guidance on how to book and sit your exam directly with APMG or an Accredited Training Organisation. Exam booking and sitting are arranged separately from this course. The awarding body owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
