Certification preparation
Adaptive Kanban Framework Certification
Three-day course to apply an adaptive Kanban approach in projects and operations through hands-on practice, simulations and exam preparation.
THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
The Adaptive Kanban Framework Certification recognises the ability to design, operate and improve Kanban systems in office-based and remote contexts. It is awarded by APMG International. Over three days learners apply core Kanban concepts to real-world project and operational scenarios. You will map workflows, set explicit policies, tune WIP limits, capture and interpret flow metrics, and explore cadences and scaling patterns. Practical exercises, simulations and guided labs are used throughout. The certification is assessed by an examination set and administered by APMG International or its accredited partners. This course includes guidance on registering for an exam session, exam-day expectations, and targeted practice with feedback. The awarding body owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
What you’ll learn
- Explain the principles and core practices of an adaptive Kanban approach
- Design a visual workflow with explicit policies suitable for office and remote teams
- Set, inspect and adjust WIP limits to improve flow and predictability
- Use cycle time, throughput and WIP age to forecast delivery and manage risk
- Apply classes of service, pull scheduling and cadences to balance demand and capacity
- Coordinate work across multiple teams using portfolio Kanban patterns
- Facilitate continuous improvement using service metrics and experiments
- Prepare effectively for the certification exam with sample questions and a full mock exam
