AI-Driven Project Manager (AIPM)
Three-day, 24-hour AIPM training: AI fundamentals, the AI project life cycle, hands-on AI tools for planning and risk, governance and a mock exam.
THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
The AI-Driven Project Manager (AIPM) certification, created by Ricardo Vargas and Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez with APMG International, prepares project professionals to lead projects where AI is part of the toolset and part of the deliverable. This 3-day, 24-hour instructor-led course follows the six domains of the published AIPM exam outline: AI fundamentals for project managers; the AI project life cycle from problem scoping to evaluation; AI tools and techniques for planning, resourcing, tracking and risk; the challenges of bringing AI into an organisation (privacy, security, ethics and change); real-world case studies; and an action plan for AI-driven project management. You work on one running case study for all three days. You scope an AI use case, build an AI-assisted plan pack with generative AI tools, and finish with a 90-day AI adoption roadmap for your own team or PMO. Exam-style questions close each day and Day 3 ends with a full mock exam. The APMG AIPM exam is 40 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, taken online with a remote proctor. One exam attempt is included in the fee outside India. APMG International owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an APMG Accredited Training Organization.
What you’ll learn
- Explain the fundamentals of AI and the difference between AI, machine learning, deep learning and generative AI, in project terms.

- Lead an AI project through its life cycle: problem scoping, data collection and preparation, model development, deployment and evaluation.
- Apply AI tools to project planning, estimating, scheduling, resource allocation, tracking, reporting and risk management.
- Identify and manage AI risks: data privacy, security, bias, ethics, regulation and resistance to change.
- Analyse real-world AI-in-project-management cases and judge what made them succeed or fail.
- Build a practical AI adoption roadmap for your team or PMO, aligned with organisational goals.
- Prepare for and sit the APMG AI-Driven Project Manager exam (40 questions, 40 minutes, closed book).
