Certification preparation
Certified Customs Clearance Agent Training
Three-day course on UK customs clearance using HMRC’s CDS; practise completing data elements and declarations, and prepare for the certification exam.
THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
This course prepares participants for a certification that recognises competence in completing UK customs declarations and clearance activities on HMRC’s Customs Declaration Service (CDS). The credential is associated with industry schemes focused on customs compliance and professional standards. Over three days you will work through the CDS data model, declaration groups, and completion rules for imports and exports. You will map commercial documents to CDS Data Elements, practise classifying goods and determining origin and valuation, and complete sample declarations in realistic scenarios. Each day includes guided exercises, worked examples, and exam-style questions. You will receive structured guidance on typical exam coverage and booking routes, plus a timed mock on the final day. We provide practice questions and a study plan; check the scheme owner’s latest instructions for current exam arrangements. The awarding body owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
