Cloud Computing
A 3-day course to explore cloud concepts, service and deployment models, security and governance, with hands-on design and exam practice.
THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
Cloud computing certifications validate knowledge of concepts, operating models, governance and security for modern IT services. Where available, related exams may be administered by APMG International or by organisations accredited to deliver their assessment services. Over three days you will cover core cloud concepts, service and deployment models, architecture building blocks, governance, security, cost management, and migration approaches. You will complete practical design and planning exercises and work through exam-style questions to consolidate understanding. This course includes a timed mock in the style of foundation-level cloud exams and guidance on arranging an external exam. Candidates book their exam directly with the relevant exam provider; MindClick does not sell exam vouchers. The awarding body owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
What you’ll learn
- Explain key cloud concepts, characteristics and common terminology
- Differentiate IaaS, PaaS and SaaS and identify suitable use cases
- Compare deployment models and articulate shared responsibility implications

- Identify security, identity, compliance and risk controls for cloud services
- Describe cloud service management practices and cost optimisation approaches
- Plan high-level migration steps, risks and stakeholder impacts
- Practise exam-style questions and build a personal study plan for the exam
