Certification preparation
Lean IT Certification
A 3-day practical course where you apply Lean in IT, map value streams, reduce waste, improve flow, and prepare for the certification exam.
THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
Lean IT applies Lean principles to the development and management of IT services and products. The certification is awarded by APMG International and recognises knowledge of Lean thinking in an IT context. Across three days you will explore core Lean concepts, value from the customer perspective, the eight wastes in IT, value stream mapping, flow and pull, performance measurement, visual management, Kaizen, and leadership behaviours. You will work hands-on with mapping exercises, root cause analysis, and A3 problem solving, supported by practical templates and discussion of real IT scenarios. The associated Foundation exam typically comprises 40 multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, closed book, with a 65% pass mark (26/40). It can be taken online with remote proctoring through APMG International or via an APMG Accredited Training Organisation, and the certificate does not expire. APMG International owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
