Three-day MBSE training to model systems with SysML diagrams across structure, behaviour and analysis, with hands-on practice and exam preparation.
THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
This certification recognises knowledge and practical understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering using SysML, and is awarded by APMG International. Over three days, participants explore MBSE principles and build SysML models covering requirements, structure, behaviour and parametrics. Hands-on exercises use realistic case studies to create and refine diagrams, maintain traceability and review model quality, with tool-agnostic guidance and instructor feedback. The certification exam is set and administered by APMG International. During the course you will receive practical guidance on registering for the exam and work through exam-style questions and a timed mock; detailed exam arrangements are confirmed at booking. APMG International owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
What you’ll learn
- Explain MBSE purpose, scope and lifecycle, and relate it to systems engineering practice
- Read and create core SysML diagrams (requirements, use case, BDD/IBD, activity, sequence, state machine, parametric)
- Model system context, stakeholders, interfaces and requirements with consistent notation and traceability
- Develop structural and behavioural views that align across levels, including allocations and item flows
- Apply parametric constraints for simple analyses and link results to verification objectives
- Organise models with packages, views and naming conventions, and perform model reviews for quality
- Use a SysML-capable tool effectively in a collaborative workflow, managing versions and baselines
- Practise exam-style questions and build a personal study plan to be ready for the certification exam
