THE BIG PICTURE
About this course
The AI Project Governance Framework (AIPGF) is a body of knowledge and certification awarded by APMG International. It provides a structured approach for governing the use of AI within projects and programmes, aligning AI risks and controls with existing delivery methods. This three-day course builds practical understanding of the framework’s principles, roles, lifecycle controls and assurance activities. Learners analyse an AI-enabled project case, map governance controls to delivery stages, assess risk, and draft artefacts such as decision logs, model oversight checklists and impact assessments. Hands-on sessions use simple templates and real-world scenarios. Certification is offered at Foundation and Practitioner levels and is administered by APMG International. Foundation assesses core concepts and terminology; Practitioner focuses on applying the framework to scenario-based situations. Exams are booked with APMG International. APMG International owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.
