THE BIG PICTURE

About this course

The Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification is awarded by Corporate Finance Institute (CFI). It recognises practical capability in financial analysis, spreadsheet modelling, and valuation used across corporate, commercial, and investment finance roles. Across five days you will build robust three-statement models, perform DCF and comparables valuations, and work through LBO and M&A cases. You will also apply Lean Portfolio Management to prioritise sales initiatives, align funding to outcomes, and create dashboards for evidence-based decisions. Structured labs, case studies, and peer reviews ensure hands-on practice. The FMVA credential is obtained directly with CFI by completing their prescribed online curriculum, assessments, and a final exam within the CFI platform. There is no standalone voucher or test-centre exam; candidates register with CFI and sit the exam online once programme requirements are met. Corporate Finance Institute (CFI) owns the certification scheme. MindClick provides training and exam preparation and is not an accredited or authorised partner.

What you’ll learn
